The life of a grad student
Intersession is tough...and I am only two days in! Six intense weeks to go.
Here is a sneak peak into the exciting day-to-day life of me, from Monday to Thursday:
6:30 am: Wake up. Work out (Nike Training Club, of course). Get ready for the day!
8:00 am: Coffee. Lots of it. (Okay, five cups max.) Start working. Design work. Website coding. Writing of le copy.
12:00 pm: Lunch. Catch up on blogs, people.com, and Lainey Gossip. God, I am loving her. Take a fifteen minute power nap.
1:00-4:00 pm: Work more. See 8:00 am for information on work and beverages consumed.
4:15 pm: Ride bike to school. (It's my intersession mission to avoid using my car unless it is pouring.)
5:00-8:00 pm: Class.
8:00 pm: Ride bike home from school. Eat dinner. Drink a glass of wine. Repeat the last part. Moan over sore legs from 6:30 am workout and 10km bike ride.
9:00 pm: Homework time. While you, dear reader, are tuning into prime time poison (I love it, but POISON just flowed so well), I am hunched over books. Maybe drinking wine, ESPECIALLY if it was raining on the bike ride home (guilty).
12:00 pm: Watch repeats of 30 Rock or Parks and Recreation. Sleep.
Fridays are my "day off" from work, which means...homework days! Saturdays and Sundays are my Writing Massive Papers days.
So that is my next six weeks, interspersed with three hour treks back to Toronto, bridal showers, trips to Ottawa, aaaaand all-around craziness. And now...back to Survey Design!
